Acne. Age-Management. Skin Irregularities. Unwanted Facial Hair. Introducing the laser that does it all, for ALL skin types.
HOW DOES OUR LASER TREAT ACNE?
-
Reduces Sebum Output
Sebum is the oil responsible for maintaining a healthy skin barrier— but genetics, hormones, and stress levels can cause an overproduction, leading to oily, acne prone skin. Similar to a round of accutane without the harsh side-effects, aerolase® heats the tissue, resulting in a reduced sebum output.
-
Calms Inflammation
Acne and inflammation go hand-in-hand. Inflamed lesions can be extremely painful, so aerolase® targets the hemoglobin in blood vessels, thus reducing redness and inflammation normally associated with acne. Clients often see a reduction in inflammation within 24 hours!
-
Kills Bacteria
We know treating c. acnes bacteria overgrowth with topicals like benzoyl peroxide and clindamyacin helps stop the proliferation of acne, but these treatments over time can be extremely dryingni. Aerolase gently kills the acne-causing bacteria colonies in 650 microseconds, leading to clarity without disrupting the barrier.
BUT DOES IT ACTUALLY WORK?
you tell us.
-
If your primary concern is active acne, 6 consecutive treatments spaced out every 2 weeks, then 1-2 annual maintenance treatments are recommended. However, we recommend booking a consult for more accurate estimates.
-
Most clients are very comfortable during the treatment, some even say it feels relaxing. The sensation is best described as warm water droplets on the skin. You may feel some heat throughout, and the laser feels a bit more intense on active lesions, but each pulse is in and out of the skin in 650 microseconds, or 15X faster than the blink of an eye. This is 30X faster than any laser on the market, making it one of the most comfortable laser treatments you could possibly receive.
-
Anywhere from 20-45 minutes depending on what we’re treating! You could come on your lunch break no problem.
-
You may be a little pink 30 minutes afterwards, but this is considered a no-downtime laser. Active breakouts may darken after a session, and this is a good thing! While we wouldn’t recommend scheduling it the day before your sister’s wedding, most people can hardly tell they had a treatment 24 hours later.
-
A singular Aerolase NeoClear® treatment for the full face is $300. However, we do offer packages that save you a little bit in the long run, as well as interest-free installment plans with Vagaro Pay-Later. Book a consult to get a quote and piece together a plan that works for your budget!
-
Because that would be extremely irresponsible of us (: We don’t book laser clients without a consult first, which you CAN book online! This way we can go over all of your questions, make certain its the BEST treatment for you, discuss homecare/aftercare, do a test pulse, etc. If you’ve already discussed laser with your provider and are ready to book, you can call, text, or stop by and we’ll get you on the schedule!
-
Item dYou sure can! Combination therapy is a great way to reach your desired results faster. Your provider can make recommendations depending on your treatment plan, but we love aerolase with our peels, dermaplaning, hydrafacial, and more! Because aerolase is non-ablative (does not remove or affect the top layer of the skin) we can safely perform almost any aesthetic treatment on our menu in conjunction without compromising comfort or safety.escription
